response to the initial contest is
proof that today's student is
strongly concerned with social and
economic questions, and has a
valuable contribution to make to
the study of current trends and

a tea in the chapter house Wed
nesday afternoon from 4:30 until

The KSK committee for the an
nual Beauty Pageant has an
nounced that names of all girls to
be entered in this year's compe-1
Zition must be in by March 5.
Each campus sorority and fra
ternity may nominate three co-eds
from the junior or senior classes.
The Independents organization may,
make three nominees and six non
affiliated girls may be named by
petition.
To make a nomination by peti
tion the name of a coed who is,
neither a sorority member nor an
affiliate of the Women's Independ
ents must be submitted by any.

be entered.
The date for the pageant has
not been definitely set as yet.
Available dates are the last two
weeks of April and the time se
lected will be announced later by,
the KSK committee.
