Junior Varsity Gets
Seventh Straight Win
By Beating Cleaners
The Junior Varsity basketeers
came from behind in the last half
to defeat the Sunshine Cleaners
59-43 last week. It was the seventh
victory without defeat for Coach
Fred Snoddy's team.
-Sunshine started the scoring
-- shortly after the tip-off and the
lead changed hands several times
until the second quarter, when
Sunshine went ahead on several
quick baskets to take a 26-21 half
time advantage.
Coming back fast, the Jayveee
started pushing the Cleaners who
found the field house floor, too
long and couldn't keep up the
di pace. The winners soon took the
nlead and were not threatened as
he they went on to win.
.. Forward Joe Faress led the
..Jayvees with 19 points, while
Munn of the Cleaners took second
honors with 15 points. Louis Krul
of the winners had 13 points and.
