By HENRY WALKER
Carolina's Junior Varsity bas

The Jayvees will be seeking an

in the field house when they meet
the Sunshine Cleaners of the City
basketball league.
The Olympia cagers were off to
an early lead with their smooth
floor play and, from all appear

win easily. The Jayvees, however,
tightened. their defense, and with
the aid of accuracy from the

the intermission. The Carolinians
changed the complexion of the
game entirely in the final period
by holding the Devils to five
points while scoring 20, and won
going away.
High scorers were Billy Glass
of Olympia with 12 points, fol
lowed by Joe Faress and Louie
Krul of the Carolina team with 11
and 10 points respectively. Both
Faress and Krul, along with Bud
dy Sullivan and Red Kite, were
outstanding for the Gamecocks,
while Glass, Franklin Drafts and
Fred Carter were offensive and
defensive sparks in the Red Devil
lineup.
Have Good Record
Thus far the Jayvees have de
feated Columbia high 58-15, Dre
her 65-38, University high 680-28,
and have won several scrimmage
