of the university Inter-Fraternity
Council for the 1947-1948 academic
year. Bunch, a member of Pi
Kappa Phi fraternity, has been
active in campus affafrs, having
been a candidate for the presi

changed considerably since the

ratified constitution gives more
power to the council in matters
pertaining to the fraternities.
The inter-fraternity council ac
cepted at its last meeting a plan
to give awards for various
achievements, the first of which
will be the presentation of a lov
ing cup at the Carolina-Clemson
game to the fraternity having the
most appropriate display or ban
ner with reference to the tradi
tional grid clash. This will in no
way interfere with a like award
presented b'y the Boosters club.
The council will also conduct
an intra-fraternity intermurals
program, including basketball,
football, softball, and with the
possible addition of other sports,
giving a well rounded sports
program.
