Haynes, J Jr., and his sister, Miss Anne Lee I Haynes, is currently being shown d in the second floor corridor of McKissick Library. it Mr. Haynes has studied with a the Grand Central Art Students' League and the School of Con temporary Art in New York. He served in the army during the t war. Much of the work in the ex- D hibit included drawings done while he was stationed in New Guinea. v Mr. Haynes originally intended r to become a sculptor. However, S when he went to New York to w study, he was influenced by the modern French school and decided le to switch to painting. He now tl works in all mediums in order to obtain versatility. C His sister, Miss Haynes, also m studied in New York and at the g Pratt Institute in Philadelphia.
