'301., of Aiken. was reccntly elected Aiken county Democratic chairman. Alan Johnstone McCutchen. *27A, of Columbia, who is on duty with the United States Army En gineers at. Bamburg, Germany, is serving as ocnstabulary en gineer at Bamburg, Germany. Colonel McCutchen, who has been in Europe for almost a year, was formerly on duty in leeland for more than two years. Mr. Stoddard, a former principal of Edmunds high school at Sumter, is now in charge of the veterans division of that institution. lie has also served for three years with the United States Marine corps. During his tour of duty with the navy, Lieutenant Lambert served as instructor in radar. "The Vic tims," which appeared in a recent issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. That magazine reports that Mr. Zuckerman's story has been pur chased by a IHollywood film studio.
