To prove my point, there are quite a few fraternity pins which are now being worn by campus cuties. For instance, Jean Early has a new KA pin which used to belong to Pat Karnegay and Sandy Owings has a white star of Sigma Nu q given to her b.v Joe Dillard. Also, Melissa Turner has left school to prepare for an An napolis we(lding which will probably take place in June. Francis West has also left to collect her trousseau. Helen Catoe is now%, Mrs. David Monnie as of Feb. 21st. Lots of good wishes to all these girls . . . the men too. As for fraternity news, there will be and have been many good parties lately. The KA's gave a wonderful party out at Mac Winter's last Satur(lay night. "Mac" was master of ceremonies, and the boys put on a skit especially designed for rushees. Every body had a bang up good time. e The S.A.E.'s banquet was "simply out of this world" with Roy Neal's orchestra, pretty girls, good lookin' men. What could be nicer? They are also giving a party Saturday night. Girls, the Sigma Chi's have finally gotten a telephone and the number is . .. 7748. Their party will be given at the Leg ion Hut out at Eau Claire and it ought to be good. Beach says that the Kappa Sigs are picnicing at Sesqui Saturday night. . . . Wednesday night they will hrve a stag drop-in at Bobby Wicham's. . . . these stag parties . . . I spec. Old members who have returned are Bob McNair, Framp Henderson, C-Square Ariail, Frank Harrision, John Waborn, Soll Blatt, Jr., Chesley Talbert, A. K. Moseley. . . . Transfers from Wofford are Bob Purdy. George Wessel . . . the more the merrier. aL Lambda Chi's gave a Cabaret party last Saturday night at the Legion Ilut and it sure was a party. They also gave a smoker Tuesday night . . . cokes vere served too. Tramp styles will prevail aplenty Sat-rday night at Sloan's studio when the Pi KA's have their tacky party for rushees and members . . . it says here if you aren't tacky, come any way. They are planning on a musical variety program and are going to serve refreshments too so it ought to be a good party. A.T.O.'s had a mighty fine time at their rush party given at Charlie Roman's house last Saturday night. Mrs. Helen S. Jackson, province president of ZTA is vis iting here now and alums are giving a dinner for Tuesday night. . . . Their new officers are, presi(lent. Carolyn Mc Gowan, vice-presidlent, Jo Morton, secretary, Margaret Flea ger, treasurer, Marian Summersett, historian, Betty Peake, Laura Roberts, rushing chairman. We sure (0 want you to * know that Burton Wilds has a beautiful diamond and the lucky man is Tom Barton. ('hi O's had as guests at coffee last Sunday, Polly Fillin gim Atwell, Charlotte Tuten, Lib Gibert . . . alums and every body were so glad to have them back. Also Toozie Johnston came back for a too short visit Tuesday. The Sigma Au's, not to be outdlone, also have a telephone now~ andl their number is 27201. On Thursday night you will find these august brotheirs smoking in the Signm Kui room andI Saturday night you will find them on a hayride andl sqluar'e (lance out at George's Pond.
