"Y" Finance C
To Begin Tues
Canvassing Opens With
Luncheon in Flinn Hall
The YMCA-YWCA finance cam
paign begins Tuesday, November
13th at a luncheon in Flinn 11all.
This will be the first of over 100
canvasses to raise the $2,500 bud
get of the "Y." Every student and
every faculty member will be con
tacted by the campaign.
Since the summer term the Gen
eral "Y" has found It absolutely
necessary to have a campaign in
which all students might partici
pate to carry on all their projects.
This canvass comes once a year;
that Is, every three semesters. At
the luncheons Tuesday and Thurs
day, Mr. Bell is planning to use his
adding machine to the fullest ex
tent, so students-take note!
The budget for the YMCA is $1,
300 and for the YWCA, $1,000. So
licitors will help students give
their money by combing each hall
of each dormitory and also town
students. The campaign ends Fri
day, November 16.
