blonde haired Alice Norville, a
sophomore at the lniversity of
South Carolina, front Rutherford
ton, N. C.
Alice, who studied piano for 1?
years prior to coming to Carolina,
has composed many pieces. but as
yet she has not tried to publish any
of them. However, she has recorded
two pieces. one of which she started
about eight years ago.
"I began to study music when I
was five years old with the hope
that someday I would he a concert
pianist," explained the young com
poser. "But, I gave that up a few
years ago so that I could have time
for other activities.
