Her mother still has the prize which is a pair of little white shoes. As we talked we could hear some one patiently pla- ing scales, which made us wonder if singers like to practice. She smiled and said, that what she didn't like about practicing was getting started. A fter that it was usually eninyable. Frances doesn't have any particular time in which to practice, but usually manages to get in ahnut one and nie-half hours each day.
