We Discuss A Letter
Received From
Some Seaman
We received a most interesting letter this
week signed "Sone Seaman''. It is impossible
to print this because (1) it is at anonymous
letter dealing with a very toeciy subject, (2)
it would aceomplish nothing yet woli arouse
much ill will. In view of these facts we stilt
consider the letter important enouiglh to let the
writer know our feelings on the sub.ijert.
To the writer
We agree w\ith you absolutely. although we
think that you have left out some argiuiimets
of the opposite side. The best s' iggestion we
have is that you face the situation as one which
must be accepted if present plans coltinue and
remember that you might have left mut some
arguments of the opponent.
If any readers are wondering what this is
all about don't ask its.
We.won't tell.

THE AWFUL TRUTH
A meek little freshman in Steward's Hall finally
sighed and gave up his effhrts at eating 'ho steak. He
called one of the student waiters and pleaded that he
be given a better steak.
After scrutinizing the meat the waiter dolefully
shook his head and replied, "Sorry, Pal, I can't take
it back now. You've bent it."
