A little later the parrot was sitting on a piece of driftwood. lIe saw

the man came i). Again he yelled "IIelp." Again he disappeared. 'lhe
thdir timle went down for good. Now there was io trace of the boat,
the passengers. or the periormer. The parrot thought about the whole
business for a while and then softly murnured to himself, "Amazing."
