here it is May Day, and on top of
that, clean-up day. Most of us
awoke this morning to the clang
ing of buckets and mops. Of
course it w\as useless to even think
of turning over and catching that
extra forty winks so we hopped out
of bed to make a brave attempt to
do what we could for the beauti
fying of ye olde school . . . then
too we were prompted by grand il
lusions 4of that noonday feast on
the main tampus.
Coronation Ceremonies
for Queen Nora and her court will
be held this afternoon at 5. Front
all reports the gals will really he
something to see . . . so don't miss
it. 'T'he Colonel will crown the
queen. Lucky, isn't he, hoys?
Wait, don't shovel You'll have a

night at the coronation dance.

Danced May 7
Junior Damnas members of the
University held their annual spring
dance Friday, May 7, in the
NROTC armory. Music for the
dance, front 9 til 1 was furnished
by Clarence Brazelle and his or
chestra. The dance floor was dec
orated in blue and white.
Main features of the evening
were four general no-breaks, one
special no-break, and the grand
march,
