- Closing out the social season of the
present year the Block "C" club of
the University of South Carolina
'have laid gala plans for a spring ban
quet to be held at the Hotel Wade
Hampton on May 12. This will be
the first banquet thrown by the club
since its reorganization last spring,
and will be an annual affair.
A prominent sports writer or ath
letic coach will thake the main ad
dress of the evening to the assembled
letter wearers of Carolina and their
dates.
The banquet will be followed by a
dance. After the guest speaker com
pletes his address the floor will be
