Blocked In Movement
By Carolina Chevvy
"Get that four-wheeled sa
boteur outa the way," the bur
ley M. P. bawled. "It's blocking
military traffic."
Evidently the forces of foreign
isms have been more active at
Carolina than the authorities sus
pect. No one believed an attempt
would be made to slow up national
defense at Fort Jackson.
Yet here were three Carolina
students charged with blocking
military traffic. The three-Mar
cus Stark, Mel Herman and Sid
ney Tabershaw--were identified
as USC students because their
shoe heels are worn out from
too much resting on desk tops.
The recreants were stalled at
Fort Jackson in their wreck which
they call a '29 chevvy.
When questioned by authorities
their comments were as follow:
IHerman: "She seems to be outa
gas."
Stark: "1 think she's outa gas."
Tabershaw: "I know she's outa
gas."
