At Baseball Game
Spectators at the Davidson base
ball game Monday were treated to a
two-man parade just before the sev
enth inning stretch, as Dutch Elston,
erstwhile football quarterback, chased
a picanninie through the stands.
It seems that the dusky urchin had
aroused Elston's ire, and the brawny
fellow was intent on putting him in
place. However, the darky escaped.
Observers close to the scene of ac

turned almost 'white from fear of
the gargantuan fellow.
