Homecoming Dance Saturday
Night
The Social Cabinet is sponsoring
a homecoming dance Saturday night
from 9 till 12 in the University
Gymnasium. Henry Westbrook will
furnish the music. During the eve
ning there will be special Big Apple
numbers by the Big Applers who
played at the Roxy Theatre in New
York City.

Fraternity rushing is over at last,
and as they take time out for a
breathing spell, the Sigma Chi's feel
unusually satisfied. "Satisfied" is
putting it mildly too, because they
led the campus in acquiring pledges;
14 to be exact. Pi Kappa Alpha ran
a good second with 11.

Zeta Tau Alpha
The following Zeta's spent the
week-end at Duke, after attending
the game at Chapel Hill: Frances
Smith, Marion Coleman, Virginia
Brown, Virginia Stoddard, and
Catherine Webster. While there they
visited the Zeta chapter and were
guests of that chapter for breakfast
in the Duke Coffee Room.
Z. T. A. will be hostess to the
campus fraternities Saturday after
noon after the homecoming game.
The drop-in will be held at the home
of Myrtle Cuthbertson. Next Tues
day afternoon they will iave a tea

James E. Decker has been named Le
Mr. Dan Reed's new assistant at the Le
Town Theatre this year. Mr. Decker Ar
has studied at the University of
Maryland and the University of
North Carolina where he took
special theatre courses.
Any student who is interested
and would like to help in any
branch of the theatre this year is
asked to stop at the theatre and see
Mr. Reed.
The theatre is open 'in the morn
ings from 9 until 12 and from 3 until
5 in the afternoons.
