Drama Club Reads Play The University Players met Wednes day night and heard a reading of "Bury The Dead." After a lengthy discussion h the group rejected the play, the reasons a being centered around the idea that the ti play was too raw, and any corrections P might spoil the effect. The census of this it opinion was that a play of this type was tl too strong in its purpose to be correctly it interpreted by the audience. To satisfy A one's curiosity it may be explained that 0 every line and word in the play could not it be modified and still retain its power. " Plays that were put up for discussion s were "Post Road," "Taming Of the Shrew," and "Murder In The Cathedral." it At the next meeting the group will decide u definitely upon a production which will begin immediately. -u. a. a.
