MEETING
The last meeting of the senior Y.M.
C.A. Cabinet will be held Friday night
in Flinn Hall at 7:15, it was an
nounced by R. G. Bell, executive secre
tary of the organization.
All members are urged to be present.
MUSIC
Annual Music I)ay at the University
will be celebrated Monday with the
presentation of "Faust", an opera writ
ten by Charles Gunod, by both the
boy's and girl's Glee Clubs which com
prise approximately 100 voices. This
has been an annual custom since 1922.

In the business meeting before the
contests the society passed without
discussion and without a dissenting
voice the amendment introduced by
Jack Payne which called for the an
nouncement of any society election at
least one week in advance. The adop
tion of the amendment by the society
made it illegal for any future "snap
election" to take place. The amend
ment had been introduced in reaction
against the unannounced election of the
society's representatives to the student
hoard of publications several weeks
ago.
The society also passed to the third
reading an amendment introduced by
Bill Douglas, which provides that
newly reinstated members of the so
ciety shall not be eligible to vote until
two weeks after their reinstatement.
