ers on the eve of the meeting of the
South Carolina Education Association
will be extended over radio station WIS
Monday morning at 11:30 by Dr. Orin F.
Crow. The broadcast will be part of the
program offered by the South Carolina
School of the Air.
A speech by Cameron Beck, educational
advisor for the New York Stock Ex
change, will be broadcast jointly by the
South Carolina School of the Air and Co
lumbia High School from the stage of
the auditorium at the high school from
11:15 until 12 Wednesday morning.
Numerous letters f rom listeners
throughout the state have been received
by Dr. R. D. Bass, director of the school.
Many radio sets have been installed in
high schools in order that students might
listen to the University's performances.

The regular meeting of the Block "C"
Club was held in Davis College Wednes- r
day night. It was decided that there t
would be a revision and addition to the
by-laws: A committee composed of Jim
Good, chairman, Bernard James, and Paul
Gaffney, was appointed to study and re
vise the laws.
It was announced that any member of i
the club could buy his monogram key at
any time. Plans were made to invite alum
ni letter men to join the club.
A dinner dance was planned for the
spring. The dinner will be restricted to
Block "C" members, and admission to
the dance after the dinner will be only
by special invitation. The committee in
charge of arrangements for the dance is
composed of Andy Hill, chairman, Oliver
Hart, and J. J. Kneece.
The next meeting of the club will be
held We.dnesday, March 11th. Fred Craft,
president of the club, urges that all mem
bers be present, as final action will be
taken on alumni invitations and plans for t
the (lance.
All letter men who are not members J
