of the game but all admitted a possibl
chance of an upset.
Coaches Comment
Coach Frank Pauly, the biggest lin
coach in America, said:
"If the boys will fight as bar,
against Clemson as they did agains
the Citadel, no Carolinian need b
ashamed of his team's showing."
Don McCallister, head coach, re
marked:
"It is too bad that the Carolina fan
have become over-ambitious since th
victory over the Citadel in hoping fo
a victory that ten days ago woul<
have seemed a dire impossibility. W
haven't a mathematical chance bui
there is always the possibility of al
up-set and that is our chance. It wil
take a hard charging line and a aler
backfield to defeat the 1935 Tiger."
Ted Petoskey, assistant coach voice,
practically the same opinions of Pauly
HeI said:
"If the boys show the same fight
ing spirit that they did in the gain
Thursday, the Tiger will know it ha
been in a football game."
