Ya W. C. A. Meets Thursday Night Contests Are Planned Ida Morris And Jennie Olarksor Are In Charge Of The Program A general meeting of all' the girls 15 scheduled by the Y. W. C. A. for Thursday evening, October 3, at 7 o' clock in the chapel. Ida Morris and Jennie Clarkson are in charge of the program. At this time a contest will be held, the prize being a $2.50 gold piece, Talks will be made by outstanding co-eds. . The Y. All Students Are Invited Presbyterians, Baptist, Methodists And Lutherans To Take Part In Affair The following Columbia churches are entertaining college students to night: The First Presbyterian Church is entertaining with an amateur radio stunt program in which students them selves will participate in broadcasting. The First Baptist Church is enter taining in the recreational hall. Dr. John H. Webb, pastor of the church, is taking charge of furnishing students with transportation to the hall. The cars will be sent to the girls' dormitory. Methodist students will be enter tained in the recreational room of the Washington Street Methodist Church. There will also be an entertainment at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. All students from the University, Columbia College, Columbia Bible Col lege, and business colleges are cordial ly invited.
