Dance Fallows Stag Banquet Sigma Nu Plans Ball Fraternity Will Celebrate Seventl Anniversapr With Hop At Ridgewood The seventh annual Sigma Nu anniversary ball will he presented May 18 at the Ridgewood cluh at 9:30, iinmedi ately following a stag banquet for ac tives and alumni, according to G. Thus far 15 have taken thc English tests; 140 hav taken history; 16.1 on biology; 211 i algebra, and 130 in French. Each member school of thc cigh districts in the state is permitted t< send three contestants to be examine in each subject. When these test are scored, three from each distric will be chosen to compete in the fina try out at the University. Engineers To Have Banquet Next Monday Night 1 Robert Wauchope, Archeologist From Carnegie, Will Be Guest Speaker ^ The annual banquet of the local chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers will he held Monday night at the Scarborough Cafeteria, president of the organization. J. L. Ohenschain, announced this week. The guest speaker at the affair will he Robert Wauchope, archeologist for Carnegie Institute who for several years has been making researches in tiuatamala. Robert Wauchope is the son of Dr. George A. Wauchope, head of the Knglish department at the University. DELEGATES BACK FROM CONVENTION a Lib Bird, Betinie Greye Lewis, and LaVerne Hughes returned to school ^ last Sunday from a regional convention of Sigma Kappa sorority. The convention was held in Tallahassee, Florida. These three delegates represented lc Beta Beta chapter here at the University. Other chapters represented were Southern Methodist University, in Dalv las, Texas: University of Alabama, in e Tuscaloosa, Ala; and Florida State College for Women, in Tallahassee.
