Students Get Leading Roles In Town Theatre Play John McCrae And Ira Koger Given Parts In New Production With two University students already cast in leading roles, the Town theater is ready to begin rehearsals or its annual musical production, one ol the most popular productions produced by the team of Gilbert and Sullivan. In two of the leading roles have been cast John McCrae and Ira Koger. McCrae is a member of the Glee club and one of the best known of the Universities young singers. He plays the part of the captain. Koger, who is in the leading comedy role, made his premier appearance as "Koko" in the "Mikado" last year. Many places in the chorus are still vacant and good voices arc still needed for singing parts in the operetta. ?U. 8. O. First Frosh Boxing Team Fights Thursday Carolina's first freshman boxing team will step into the squared ring for their initial bout of the season Thursday night at 8 o'clock in the Field house against the BrooklandCavce High mitt-men.
