Dances Spice Gay Program German Ends Festivitiej K. A. Tea Dauoe And Cotillioi Hop Added To Schedule Adding color to the annual fail week classics, University organiza tions will stage a series of dances to day and tomorrow climaxed by tin opening German tomorrow night. Besides the German club, the Cotil lion club, the Kappa Alpha fraternitj and the Gym dances are to be given The Cotillion club will have its dance between the hours of 6 and ( p. m. at Lake View, following tin freshman game. The officers are: John Gregg McMastcr, president; Ca pers Gambrcll, vice-president; Bol: Hemphill, secretary; and Park Jen kins, treasurer. Following the varsity game the K A. fraternity will give a dance from 5:30 to 8:30 at Ridgewood. A special K. A. waltz for the members of the fraternity 'and their date; will be presented. Buster Spann and his Gamecocks will furnish the music Chaperones arc: Dean and Mrs J. Rion McKissick, Dr. and Mrs Frank Owens, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McKay, Dr. and Mrs. T. M. Dubose Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ehrlich, Dr. and Mrs. Havilah Babcock, and Mr. and Mrs. Talley Elliott.. The German will be danced Thursday night at the University gym from 10:00 to 2:00. The hall is being decorated by Susan Guignard Sparks. The figure will be led by the officers of the club and their dates. The officers of the club arc: Harold Minson, president; David Childs, vicepresident; Bob Hemphill, secretary; Charlton Horger, treasurer; James Black, senior leader; and Cuthbcrl Prevost, junior leader. Cabinet Stages Dance Tonight The Carolina-Clenison dancc will b< danced at the Gym tonight from nin< 'til two. This is an annual affaii which always proceeds the Carolina Clcmson football game and student; of both colleges are looking forwar< to the event. The Clcmson Jungalecri will furnish the music. The Socia Cabinet sponsors the dancc. Due to the fact that the Cabinet wai left fifty-seven dollars in debt fron last year, they have found it neces sary to charge $1 admission. Th< money made on this dancc will pa: for the sponsors' flowers and candy At eleven-thirty a grand march wil be le^ by the chairman, John Mozingo and his date, Happy DuBose. Assis tant leaders in the march will be tin other two members of the Cabinei and their dates, Chick Brown ant Elizabeth Wiley, and Arthur Sams and Ruby Dabbs. ?U. H. C.
