Full Schedule
The time for individual or small
group worship is before breakfast. A
trip to High Top might be a very real
worship service. After breakfast
there will be a conference worship
service on the steps of Lee Hall.
The Bible Study classes combine
worship and serious study. These
classes are carefully planned so as to
be easily reproducible on the campus.
The Personal Adjustment hour assembles
the entire conference (except
the Field Council) for discussion of
the all important matter of adjustment
during college life.
There is an interval of half an hour
in the morning, which may be used to
rest and read your mail.
The Campus Projects hour comes
just before lunch. This is the time
when we learn HOW it can be done
on our campus. No matter what your
major problem is you will find a group
working on it and the exchange of
ideas will certainly be fruitful.
The afternoon is given over entirely
to recreation. You may walk, ride,
drive, swim, play tennis and golf, hike,
climb, explore, visit neighboring points
of interest, ride horseback, browse in
the library, and enjoy a joyous comradship
with the leaders.
Immediately after supper, in the
____ Student Hour, you will learn the
. meaning of Blue Ridge Spirit. There
B will be camp fires, pageants, college
'1 songs and a conference quartette that
I will cater to your own personal desires
I and requests for music and song.
- . The evening platform hour comes
I at 8 P. M. There will be interesting
I speeches on Spiritual and Social topics.
Delegation Meetings will follow the
. I Platform Address, but must adjourn
I by 10 P. M. The state line will be the
| line of division for these meetings, and
I wherever possible they will be held in
| cottages before an open fire.

Program Proz
Everyone
The daily program at Blue Ridge
provides diversified occupation for
delegates. Time for meditation, reading,
sight seeing, and athletics is allowed,
outside of the hours assigned
for worship, addresses, discussion
groups, and Bible study.
'I here is no organized program for
the early morning. Many will wish
to spend some time alone or with one
or two friends, seeking through quiet
meditation in one of nature's beauty
spots, with the help of the Bible or
some other book of aspiration or devotion,
the strength and guidance
which Jesus found in conversation
with his Father.
Breakfast is served in the dining
hall. All the delegates eat at the same
time, special tables being prepared for
individual delegations or the combination
of several delegations.

BIBLE STUDY
Bible study groups under capahlc
ministers or other Christian leaders
are held during the period just after
breakfast. The groups scatter out
to any spot near the main auditorium,
many of the leaders holding their discussions
in shady places near the
mountain streams.
The second period is taken ifp for
personal adjustment. The whole conference
assembles for discussion of the
major problems of their adjustment
during college life. Each leader is a
trained specialist in bis subject. This
is the time which provides practical,
skilled help in coming to terms with
life.
Next comes the resource hour and
one is free to use his time in the most
profitable way, whether from books,
friends, leaders, or in quiet.

Blue Ridge Is
Famous Place
Blue Ridge was established twenty
years ago. During these years sixty
thousand people have been on these
grounds for inspiration and training.
The great majority of this number
have been students and faculty representatives
from the men's and women's
colleges of the South. "Mecca" is the
word?it has become the spot to which
a great pilgrimage is made every year.
Hundreds of college students have
dreamed of this place through their
whole college course and have found
the fulfillment of those dreams?during
their summer vacation following
their junior year.
What do people get at Blue Ridge
which makes them keep telling others
so there is a continuous succession at
these summer gatherings?
First, there is the uplift of the hills.
To those who have climbed High Top
and seen the glory of a sunset across
the Craggy Mountains?no other word
need be said. It is an experience that
lives with us, and in the strength of
which we go for months and years.
Second, there is the contagion of
.jreat souls. Some of the world's greatest
leaders?yes, some of the greatest
?gather here each summer. To hear
them, to live with them, to know them
is a high peak of human experience.
Third, there is fellowship with hundreds
of other students who are working
at the same task. The picked men
from all the colleges gather here. It
helps us to know the ideals of other
colleges, and to appreciate them. "At
