J. Williams has acquired an enviable

M. F. Bush is one of the University
trustees.
Mr. Gunter is well-known as a manufacturer
of fertilizers in the upper
, part of the State. Mr. Edens has attained
prominence through his law
practice at Bennettsville as has Mr.
Duffie at Sumter.
Mr. Heise, sheriff of Richland
county, has distinguished himself by
his ardent support of the University
and its athletics. The two senior
members of the law firm of Lumpkin
and Thomas in this city are known
throughout the State for their legal
ability. Julien Bush has law offices
at Barnwell and Mr. Wilds has won
national distinction as an agronomist
with the D. R. Coker Pedigreed Seeds
Company at Hartsville.
Mr. Sawyer is Chief Highway Commissioner
and Mr. Robinson is a member
of the State Tax Commission.
William L. Laval is head Coach of
the football champions of the State.
Students will be elected into Omicron
Delta Kappa early in December
and initiated preceding the Christmas

Moot Trial
To Be Held
By Students

Lambright and Frank Eatmon, while
the defense will be rperesentcd by the
firm of Moss, Godshall, and Keels.
The trial will be staged in the Abney
Library of the Law building
Thursday evening at 8:30 o'clock, the
public being invited to attend.
Members of the jury shall be chosen
from the freshman law class.
Phi Delta Phi, national honorary
legal fraternit?is sponsoring the moot
trial in an effort to revive the moot
court that was oncc an important
phase of the law student's life here.
According to Patrick H. Nelson,
president, this trial is to be the first
of several others during the year.
