HARRIS GIVES PAPER Honorary History Fraternity Discussed The graduate History Club held its regular meeting last Friday night in the history room at Davis Clollege. Dr. Harris, the new president, presided Under the head of business the club took up the consideration of the report of the committee to investigate the poe sibilities of turning the club into an honorary history fraternity affiliated with the national organization. After the report was read it was decided to leave the club as it is and to submit the plan to the history department of the several colleges in the city. Th' History club is composed of people in terested in history in the various schoo!s of the city and for that reason coulil not go bodily into a fraternity- It is suggested that those interested in his tory in the university that would like to establish a history fraternity confer with the history department. After the above business was con cluded Dr. Harris, the new member of the history department, addressed th.. clhb on "Medicine in Colonial America." The paper was very humorous and de livered in )r. Harris' entertaining style. The subject. matter afforded iany citations of superstition and Ie licfs that were funny to say the least. The paper went some length into the cImposition of various cures of the 17ii century. It also brought to light th". extent in which New hngland especiall v wai bound up in superstition and witch crait.
