MIDDLEWEIGHT,
The middle weight match was one
of the most exciting matches of the
evening. Leardo, who tipped the scales
at 163 pounds did everything but win
a judges decicion over Captain Charlie
Brown. Southern Conference Champion
who weighed 160 pounds. Leardo battled
the North Carolinian on even terms
for three rounds and a fourth was re
quired for the judges to render a de
cision, which Brown won thereby being
awarded the contest.
LIGHTHIAVYWEIGHT
For this match Keels of Carolina, 175
pounds and Warren (Add Warren's
brother) 178 pounds were in the oppo
site corners. Keels displayed and offen
sive attack that could not be checked
and hammered out a judges decisior,
over the big Tarheel. This was the
feature match of the evening as the
heavyweight contest was forfeited by
North Carolina because they failed to
make an entry.

Company
The coin slot in the public pay tele
phone at Lafayette College recently
was lef open when the phone was in
stalled, and as a result al11 money used
in making calls was returned. Not
a few students took advantage of this
as soon as it became generally known,
and the telephone did a thrive business
in long distance callls. The boys call
ed home and the girl friends, all over
the country for nothing.
When they returned from Thanks
giving vacation, however they were
somewhat' chagrinned to learn that the
telephone company had traced their
calls, and had taken advantage of the
vacation to distribute bills for payment.
Not a few students are broke.
