GAMECOCKS DEFEAT BLUE STOCKINGS (Continued from page one) To start the second half, Owens punted to Beall who returned 20-yards to Caro lina's 40-yard line. Zobel and Beall made another first down. Two beauti ful end runs by Wimberly placed the ball on P. C.'s 17-yard line. The Pres byterians then called for time out.-Wim berly added another 4-yards and Zobel, with splendid interference, dashed around end for the second touchdown. Zobel also added the extra point. Zobel kicked-off to Green who was downed on his own 35-yard line. Julian Beall intercepted Owens' pass and was brought down on the Clintonites' 25-yard line. Carlisle Beall passed over the goal line and the ball was placed in P. C's possession on her own 20-yard ine. Sev eral line plays failed and Owen's punted to Zobel who returned the ball 43-yards to the Presbyterianss' 28-yard line. Bean gained 4 yards but the next two plays resulted in losses and the ball went over on downs. Green and Hogrefe failed co gain and Owens' punted toCarolina's 45 yard line. A beautiful pass for 12 yards from Carlisle Beall to Zobel ended the third quarter. Score, Carolina 13, 1' C., 0 In the final quarter, Zobel punted to P. C's 12-yard line. Green caught a pass from Owen that was good for 42 yards, putting the ball on the Gamecock's 40 yard line. On the next play, Wolfe in tercepted a Blue Hose pass and raced to P. C's 22-yard line. Beall and Wim berly made first down but, on the next "first and ten" the ball went over on downs. An exchange of punts put tli ball on the Presbyterians' 28-yard line Boineau intercepted a pass from Owens and two line plays netted 8 yards as the game endekl. P. C.
