Nothing new happened in camps of the rivai political factions this week. "Dear little Innocents," and just think, they'll be the butt for the enthusiasm of these hard-hearted politicians in the next few weeks. It certainly was a cruel thing to drag the freshman into the broil of campus politics by allowing them to vote for the president and arch angel of the student body (theyre both combined in one). But so far no one has offered me a cigar, beg pardon, one did but it had been partiaily sioked made him sick and seems as 'tho' to put his spleen back on a plane of equilibrium, lie yas going to pass it on to me. But I'll tell him one thing, my snuffer and gullet aren't galvanized and now it'll take several "howzeboys" and long heart to bored listeners talks to put us back where we were. Anyhow, the highest bi,dder gets the birdie. But why all this, why ali that and again I say WHY???? But speaking of voting reminds me of the fellow who said he didn't know how his family stood, 'cause he was a Democrat, wife a Republican, cow was Dry, baby Wet and cat Socialist. And another thing, the rising Sophs. could look much farther and do much worse in their selection of president. You can drive a fool to talk but you can't make him think. "Aw, give us a kiss." "Say, -how many are in this party"? But why kiss? There you go again on the subject of women. Women and co-eds are like your tirst, also last, dose of C. A. (carbolic acid) vou learn all about them at once and when the lesson is over vou're in no c11n(dition to enjoy or use your money. Heard he one about the absent-minded business man who dictated to the dog and tried to give his secretary a bath? "Wo men are all alike aren't they"? "Yes, eVery one you meet is different." Still i'Z lie woman who pays, with the man's me oney. "In God we trus-" ali others must pay cash. Where men are nien h.ondes are the preferred type-they get lirtv sooner. "sure would like -4 see that show." with only twelve ecen s in his pocket. Yet they are furnyI (women and co-eds) the\ never say any thiig evei when they talk. We believe that -heir heads were put on them fo. the same reason 'ape is wrapped around a baseball hat, namely: to improve heir looks and furnish a hand hold or we sh"ulld sav foot hold. Sometimes we W"ulld like to plant our foot on one and see what would grow. "And ano her redskin hi-t the dust." But still women are important but no-. nearly so much as a man's trousers-you can discard your trousers whenever wou wish but not so with women, yet 'lere's lots of places you can, go without your girl friend. AND THAT'S THAT. Judge, the campus pioliceman,. often thirowvs light on some incrresting sub jects. Correct this senitence: As they drove a:ong the highwvay 'hey p)assed the en trances -to many lonely andl deserted co'untry lanes.
