Those who were sustained and soothed
(?) by the editorials of last semester
will'greet with joyous shouts, the news
that the present editor has agreed to give
me a column each week in which to deal
out my quota of milk of human kind
ness. Paens of joy will undoubtedly
rend at otherwise in offensive air at this
bit of information. (The handshaking
line will form on the right, don't push,
gentlemen.)

Bugs, Baer, or the eridite Dr. Crane is

If last night's fight and fight crowd is
at all indicative of the future of the
sport, the leather-pushing game is due
for a long and prosperous life, as they

This is the final warning in re
gards to the annual material. All
senior write-up, juniors pictures,
sponsor pictures, fraternity pictures
must be in by the end of next week.
Those seniors who have not turned
in their pictures are requested to
see Leslie Edwards immediately.
The write-ups are to be old style,
giving student's honors. -Unless
these requests are complied with it
will practically impossible to get the
aboved mentioned. in the annual.

The Carolina Pharmaceutical society
held its reguiar semi-monthly meeting
Wednesday night in LeConte college.
Speakers of the evening were Dean Mot
ley and Prof. W. D. Strother, both of
the Pharmaceutical faculty.
Dean Motley spoke on "The South
Carolina Pharmaceutical Association,"
pointing out its foundation, development
and how it is functioning at present.
Prof. Strother spoke on the crude
drug "Cinchona," emphasizing especialhy
its importance in medicines at the present
time.
Immediately following the monthly
meeting, a smoker was held, after which
refreshments were served by Culp and
Morrison, acting as waiters. A large
number attended the meeting, about 25
in all. Prof. J. E. Copenhaver, of the
chemistry faculty, was the guest of the
evening.
