Warning is Issued
To Co-Ed Glee Club
Members Must Attend Rehear
sals Promptly if They Ex
pect to Make Trip
Co-ed Glee club has issued a warning
to the effect that all who do not attend
rehearsals regularly and promptly will
forfeit their privilege to go on the road.
To go on the road as the Co-ed Glee
club is an honor granted only to a few
out of the regular Giee club, and those
who are selected must work hard and
faithfully in order to hold'up the record
set by preceding clubs, and in the short
time left to put out a show that will be
worthy of them.
The Glee club has been laboring under
great handicaps and trawbacks and it
was deemed necessary to postpone the
trip, which has been formerly made in
December, until after exams.
Tihe show this year is in the form of
a revue and promises to be the best that
the girls have attempted yet. The lat
est song hits, brand-new dance steps, and
original skits, feature throughout the en
tire program, with a bit of classical
"stuff" thrown in for good measure. The
talent and beauty, which is Carolina's
boast, has no bigger chance for expres
sion than in this mammoth undertaking.

Dr. Carson's Radio
Entertain Inmates
According to the patients in the In
firmary, music not only has charms to
soothe a savage breast, but mumps and
measles as well. Dr. Carson's radio,
which he has so generously attached so
that the infirmary patients can enjoy it,
has brought mitch pleasure and satisfac
tion to all who have been confined. Mrs.
Madden declares that the boys take pills
to music much better than with coaxing.
All who have enjoyed Dr. Carson',
thoughtfulness are profoundly grateful.
;1ad it is hoped he will continue to see
fit to bring this pleasure to the students.
A frigidaire and a recently installed
drinking fountain are other new assets
that are adding to the comfort and use
fullness of the infirmary. The fountain
is an answer to a long-felt need among
the stxlents, and Mrs. Madden says that
it prevents miuch confusion and annoy
ance that were formerly present.
