The results, says the daiiy, "are intended for a supplement to the college catalogue, rather thani any sophomoric attempt at "constructive criticism." s such they may be worthwhile to those who are con sidering several courses as their fifth sub)jects. Perhaps. "The criticisms . . .are a mirrow of student opinion, and consequently can have no great claim to erudition or auth ority." Students also were asked to comment on their professors, and the Dartsmouth had intended to publish these remarks. However, it does not do so, offering in explanation: '"The answers returned were so con tradictory that it would have taken a liar great than Ananias and a diplomat mnore suave than Metternich to have evolved anything worthwhile from the mass of comments. We cannot presume to have the asuthority,to pillory, need lessly and questionably, the members of the teaching profession. Plans are now being made by the local chapter for the securing of a chap ter house. The charter members of the fraternity are: Loutie Berry, Jacob Freed, Joseph Karesh. Morris Wengrow, Artie Philip, Louis Rivkin, and Alexander Mazel. Pledges of the fraternity are: Jacob Karesi,, Kalmnan Berkowitz, and Herman Poliakoff. McINNIS WINS. KEIIT ORATORICAL . MEDAL (Continted From Page One) Euphradian societies. Since -1921, when the medal was first awarded, it had been won by three members of Clario sophic society and by three members of the Euphradian society. In 1921, Fant Kelly of Union, member of the Clario sophic society was the successful con testant. In 1922, John E. Hankins of Lake City, likewise belonging to the Clariosophic society won the medal. In 1923, John Henry of Ailendale, another Clariosophic man, captured the coveted award. 1924, 1925 and 1926 saw Charles Cuttino of Sumter, Joseph Karesh of Columbia, and Edward K. Pritchard of Charleston, all members of the Euphra dian society winning the medal. The judges for the contest were: W. H. Jories, president of the Southern teacher's agency; Dr. Mason Crum, pro fessor at Columbia College, and Dr. G. A. Wauchope of the University faculty. J. R. Anderson presided over the con test.
