nz H66sAnnex aump"i Sece"d Fire, which partly destroyed Graydon House, one of the 'women's ann6xas at 4:30 this morning caused Misses Helen Savage, Roberta Plowden and Faith DeLoach to jump from a second story window to the ground. Miss De. Loach- and Miss Plowden were caught in a blanket and were uninjured, but when Miss Savage jumped, the rescue:-s thinking she had made her exit by an other way, had removed the blanket. She sustained more or less serious in juries .to her back as a r'esult of the fall. The fire is thought to have started from the coals which dropped from the grate. All of the upstairs sleeping porch was completely demolished. The four girls who occupied the porch, Misses Helen Savage , Roberta Plow den, Elizabeth Sample and Faith De Loach, suffered an entire loss of cloth ing. The other girls are generously re sponding to their needs, and a -suffiencv of clothing has been offered them. All of the occupants of the house, be numbed with cold, being clad only in pajamas,, spent the remainder of the night in the infirmary.
