member from each of the four literarN
societies, such members to be definitely
elected for that purpose.
Sec. 4. Each class shall elect its of
ficers, in the spring for the following
year on the (lay five (5) weeks, next
preceding Commencement Day, elect
ions to be effective with the opening of
the succeeding session: provided, how
ever, that all classes save the rising
Senior Class, may hold their election!
within two weeks after the days fixec
by this section.
Sec. 5. Each Class shall have the

Sec. 6. The Freshman class shall

Article HII -- Duties of Officer:,
Sec. 1. It shall be the duty of th<
President to preside over all meeting

the duty of the Student Council to
conduct all elections in the Student c

tions for which elections shall be made
in Student Body assembly, and it shall t
be the duty of the Student Council to I
announce the results of said elections.
It shall be the duty of the Student I

Sec. 5. The President of the Stu
dent Body shall be ex officio Chairman I
of the Student Council. It shall re
quire a two-thirds majority of the
Student Council to constitute a quo

Sec. 6 The Chairman shall call meet

at all other times that it may be

Article IV - Honor Principle and Or
ganization
Sec. 1. The Student Body takes it
for granted that each student is a
gentleman and a man of honor until he
proves himself to be otherwise. It is
the duty of each student to teport such
infractions of the Honor Principle as
comie to his notice. The duty of judi
cial action upon infractions of the
Honor Principle reported rests only 1
upon the Honor Committee.
Sec. 2 The Honor Committee shall be t
composed of eleven (11) members, who
shall sit in judgement upon all breaches
reported.
Sec. 3. It shall be necessary for at ,
least eight (8) members to sit in judg- t
nient upon each case. In the event of

Article V - By-Laws
Sec. 1. The rules contained in Rob
rt's Rules of Order shall govern the

ution and By-laws of the Student

Sec. 2. Business may be transacted

Sec. 3. Proposed amendments and
.ditions to the Constitution and By
