was well represented at a meeting of
the Columbia branch of the American

in the University were represented and
many college activities.
The meeting was for high school
girls who are now confronted with the
problem of where to go to school in
an effort to give them an idea of what
is being done in the highest class col
leges and universities, and guide them
to a place from which they will derive
the most benefit. There were repre
sentatives from Smith College, Welles
ley. Columbia University, University
of Wisconsin, Converse, Randolph
Macon, University of Florida. and
many other higher institutions of
learning.
Three of Randolph-Macon's repre
sentatives were members of the Uni

Mtcheil Hall, at Stummerland, which

Another feature of the program will
e the talks by Sherwood Eddy. Dr.

r. His hobby at the present time is
nternational Industrialism from the

Among the other- leaders will be Dr.
