EUPHRADIAN ORATOR
SCORES BACHELORS
Program Lively-Cuttino Keeps
Audience Laughing-iMany
Debate Extemporaneously
It isn't near so unfortunate to be a
bachelor as one might think. Anyway,
that's what Rittenberg tries to tell the
Euphradians. The speaker, in his
weekly oration, relates all the unnec
essary things men have to put up with,
whercas, were they only bachelors life
would be so easy: no rolling pins, no
hat pins, and no safety pins.
As extemporaneous speaker, Cuttino
kept the audiance in an up-roar. Of
course it was only Charlie's little pep
py stories that made them all laugh so.
"Bob" Hodges gave a series of current
events which gave even those who
read the newspapers a bit of informat
ion.
The regular debate of the evening
was Resolved: That the United States
should enter the World Court. Collier
and Hentz upheld the affirmative
while Bussey and E. H. Zeigler de
fended the negative. A large number
spoke from the house, showing a great
amount of interest in this present day
topic. The affirmative was victorious
by a large majority vote from the
house and by a unanimous decision of
the judges.
