Pamphlet Gives History of Class
and Tells of Doings of
Members
A direcotory of the Class of 1923
has becei prepared by R. M. IHlope, the
class Secretary, aid sent to all the
2 members. The pamphlet is a small one
C that can be carried in the pocket at all
0d --imes. The cover carries a real neat
d design, bear'ng the seal of the Univer
sity.
The pamphlet is divided into three
sections. The first giving the history
of the organiza, zion and its officers.
Here are to be found some of the plans
that the members have proposed to put
i,:ito operation real soon.
The second section tells of the out
standing events among the classmates.
The two holding the platform for the
year were: Thorne Sparkman being
awarded the Rhodes Scholarship and
the marriage of Miss Oliver Stewart.
This section will grow as the years
pass.
The last division of the landbook is
a catalogue of the members of the
class. It is divided into the six schools
aIId the students listed under theii res
pective schools.
Early in November about twenty
five members of the class met at Flinn
Hall for the purpose of perfecting a
more perfect organization. That meet
ing was tif-t in vain. The class secre
tary has gotten .I tolucl with all of the
members of the class and hopes to haNe
a second meetintg some time soon.
