Hypatian Meeting
The Hypatian Literary Society held
its regular meeting Wednesday after
noon at four o'clock. Mliss Sarah
Meredith gave "Campus Topics" and
the extemporaneois speech on "Valen
tine Day" was given by Miss lIlizabeth
Lindsey. A debate, resolved. that
France is justitied in holding the Ruhr,
took up the major part of the mneet
ing. Those uplpholding the affirmative
were Misses Niattie Varn and Thelna
Penland, while the negative was upheld
by Anna Swindell an dWllreiina Han
cock. The coimnittee onl debate de
cided in favor of the negative.
