Y. M. C. A. NEWS Dr. Moore Speaks on Parasites At chapel hour tuesday morning Dr. A. C. Moore, of the faculty, led the devotional exercises. lie read sev eral selections from the Bible and then led in a short prayer. He then gave a short talk on the social groups as rela ted to biology. Dr. Moore spoke of several incidents notice( on the campus lately of sicial unity ald anti-social unlity. The illus tratit.is were very touching and pres ented some interesting facts before the students that they had not considered seriously before. He spent a few min utes by describing the life of certain parasites-hiological and human. The hookworm, tape-worm and others were discussed along with the mistletoe. He qmcluded by saying "The message I want to present is that we are one so ciety. We have no room for the para site. This useless creature must le de stroyed. All must help together ftr the welfare of all." Such talks as I)r. Moore's are help ftil and appreciated by the studeits. ---Y.M.C.A. Blue Ridge Club Tomorrow night the Illue Ridge Club is givieng a little entertajinment for the girls who have been to lIhte Ridge and others who have not. It will be at .lini lall at 7:15.
