MASONIC CLUB TO
GIVE BANQUET
The Masonie Club at the Uni
versity is staging a big affair at
Flinn IHall next Tuesday night
when the members of the club
will be entertained at a ban
quet. This occasion is to be
differentiated from the great
majority of such occasions in
that each man who has success
fully met the goat is to bring
with his his fair lady, be she
his better half, intended, or
merely probationist.
The Masonic club at the Uni
versity includes about 30 mem
bers including the faculty and
plates at the banquet will be
set for about sixty. It is
planned to invite Governor
Cooper to make the speech of
the occasion with several good
men to make short toasts. The
president of the club is Mr.
George Taylor and the cornunit
tee iu charge is Messrs. Muse,
Sharpe and Bell.
