Y. M. C. A. STAGES A BIBLE RALLY On last Friday night the Y. M. C. A. at the University staged one of those real old fashion Bi ble Class Rallies that we were ae custonied to back at home. The object of the rally was to bring the attendance of the classes tip to 250. The goal of the rally was not reached inl this drive but the attendance of the classes was in creased to 200 which was a mate rial increase over the attendaine of the classes to date. In the standing of the classes it was no ticeable this week that most of the classes had perfect attend ance. Another thing is that four lof the classes brinlging up the rear of the first division are all with in a few points of each other and keen competition is going on to see which of thei will comlie up to tihe front a,n( compete with the leaders. The largest attendaice this week goes to class in Tene ment 2 which is under the leader ship of "Wop" Ranmsey and Babe Adams. Except for the fact that this class got mixed up on dates at one meeting and failed to meet they would be pushing Tenement 22 for leaders honors. The class standings are as fol lows: Tenement 22 Tenement 6 Harper West Des. Tenement 2 Tenement 23 East Des. Tenement 5 East Rut Tenement 1 Tenement 7 Elliott Tenement 24 Woodrow There will he only two more meetings of the classes this year and the committee is planninig to make these the best vet. WORK ON ANNUAL BEGUN The 1922 "Garnet anl Black" is in process of compilation. Every annual is the representative of the student body an( is not the work of the annual staff alone. Fomt1 or five members of the University cannot pumt out an anual that will be worthy of being the pro dueit of an institution with an en rollment of approxinmately six hutndredl stud(ents. It is absolute ly necessary that all the members of the stud(ent body 1lend all their stupplort to the editing of the an nual. The general trend of this section can he ascertained by looking in a preceeding year's annual. The imanagement res )eC(tfully* asks that everybody help in the publishing of this feature of this year 's annual. The Senior write-ups are an important part of the annual. Ihose seniors who are as.Signed to write-1up another senior are asked to cooperate in getting these in as Soon as possible. The assignments will be malde at an early meeting of the senior class. Ile Editor wishes to make this :inniial as original as possible. As lie is not a cartoonist himiself, he relies oin the support of those nemibers of the different classes who are gifted with the talent of drawing. In the recent campaign of the Y. M. C. A. for funds some "tea hound" made a large contribution with the understanding that it be used for a social. His offer was accepted so the "Y" plans to ful fill its promise on the following Saturday night with a reception in honor of one of the girls col leges of Columbia.
