of the Season Between
the Two Teams.
The Gamecocks took the
road again immediately aftei
their game last Thursday with
Davidson,. and met the Citadel
Bulldogs in the second game of
basketball. between the two
teams this season on last Fri
day night. The Bulldogs, who
have not yet been defeated,
came out victor, the end of the.
game finding the score 34 and
22 in their favor. The Game
cocks made a creditable show
ing, but were outplayed by the
Bulldogs, who played together
well and were fresh in the fray,
while it was the Carolina qain
tet's seventh game in the last
week. The Citadel held Caro
lina to five field goals, but on
account of the large number of
fouls called on the former, the
Gamecocks were enabled to
run their score up to 22. Skin
ner throwing 12 out of 15
fouls. The passing of the Bull
dogs was excellent and their
team work exceptionally good.
