B. D. G.'S TO HAVE
SUCCESSORS.
Mission Study Groups Will Be.
gin Next Week.
The B. D. G.'s are with us
no more, but next week will
usher in their successors in the
shape of the M. S. G.'s, which
stands for Mission Study
Groups. These groups will be
run on the same plan as the
Bible groups, led by students.
The dormitories have been di
vided up so as to make the con
test a little more even than the
last one. This course will run
for six weeks, using the text,
:"The Call of a World Task."
:'The book does not take up the
Cspecific problems of any one
?part of the world, but in view of
the after results of the war and
t the strains placed upon world
a society by the war, it makes a
ci plea for Christian Internation
6d alism, and shows what Christ
ianity can accomplish for the
d whole world.
Next week will be enlistment

the leaders of the groups say
that there will be no man in
their tenement who can get
away from their class.

This is a rare opportunity to
study foreign commerce and
trade.
The following is a list of all
star students of the university
for the first term, with the ex
ception of the first two who are
all-double-star students. The

DR. GREEN DOES
KINDLY DEED.
One of the members of the
faculty, Dr. Green, recently
contributed very much to the
happiness of the boys who have
had the misfortune of being
thoughtfulness and kindness
toward them last week by tak
ing over to them two dozen
fine, fresh eggs. They were
appreciated by the boys, espe
cially because they were so far
superior to cold storage eggs
which they were accustomed
to getting. Those boys who are
in the infirmary wish to extend
their heart-felt thanks to Dr.
Green for his kindness.
The university student body
has been indeed fortunate this
winter in having no more sick
ness than it has. There have
been only thirteen patients at
the infirmary during the two
months of January and Febru
ary. None of these have been
seriously ill, having only light
attacks of grip, except
one of the present patients, Mr.
W. J. Ready, who has pneu
monia. He is now improving
daily, and his many friends at
the university and elsewhere
wish for him a speedy recov
ery.

He: "There is something

She (blushing coyly)
"What is it?"
He: "You're pigeon-toed."
Bill Perry: "Wise men
make proverbs; fools quote
them."
Cleo: "That's so. By the
way, who was the author of
that one ?"
"Here, boys," said grandma,
"I wouldn't slide down those
banisters. I wouldn't do it."
Freshie: "Why, grandma;
you couldn't do it."
