Hatcher kicked 30 yards to White, who was downed in his tracks. Skinner made eight around left end and Blount took six off tackle. Forward pass, Timmons to Brockington, nettted five. Lowe showed to advantage at tackle, and Lane put up an alert game at end. It is hard to single out play ers for special mention for Car olina. Every man in the line up did well, playing brilliantly at times and safe and sane at all times. Skinner did good work on offense and defense, and Timmons ran well with the ball and passed perfectly. Goodman, playing his first game in the backfield, did well and kicked in sensational style, far outkicking his opponent. McMillan, at tackle offered the best playing in the line Captain Brockington and B. Smith offered great play at the ends. In fact, every man there played splendidly and was worthy of trust. No better for ward passing has ever been seen in Columbia.
