ville is student major. He is
a graduate of Furman Univer
sity and A member of the Junior
Law class at Carolina.
Lieut. hoderick MacDonald, a
member of the senior academic
class is captain of "A" Com
pany. His lieutenants are Z. L.
Foy, C. T. McDonald, and R. L.
Crawford. Lieut. F. P. Mc
Gowan, also of the senior acade
mic class, captains "B" Com
pany. The lieutenants of "B"
Company are J. B. Sojourner
afid Jake Audrey.
Reville for the R. 0. T. C.
men is at 7 o'clock and taps at
11 p. rn.' The cadets drill from
8:30 to 9:30 every morning on
the athletic field. Lieut. C. M.
Mimms has charge of the physi
cal exercises which are given
from 7:? to 7:45 daily in front
of the R. 0. T. C. barracks.
The A. 0. T. C. has opened
a canteen in Flinn Hall for the
University students. Four pool
tables hsye been installed, and
this forz of amusement is popu
lar with the men. All the col
lege mail is now handled by the
canteen i stead of at the mar
shal's offloe as formerly. Lieut.
J. B. Soj#urner is in charge of
the canteon.

ter Military Academy five in a
fast game of basketball last
Thursday afternoon. The boys
from the City by the Sea had
a slight lead on the Scrubs
throug put the game. For Car
olina farand Foy played the
best ball, while Goodman and
Allen led for P. M. A.

Carolina Loses Fast Game to
Visitors
The basketball five of Wof
ford College defeated the Game
cocks last Tuesday night in a
fast and exciting game by a
score of 24 to 18.
The visitors gained the lead
in the first few minutes of play
and held a lead of a few points
throughout the game. The first
half ended with the score 13 to
7 in favor of the Methodists.
Carolina came back with a rush
in the second half and came
within a few points of tying the
score before the final whistle
blew. Waring and Weston
played stellar ball for Carolina
while Neighbor and Carroll
starred for Wofford.
