I met her at a recital there one
night. We're going down town
tonight, better come along."
"Nope. I'm off to bed so I'll
be fit for the game tomorrow."
"Helen told me to bring you
along."
"Oh, did she? That was nice
of her." He stood up and
stretched his arms above his
head. "Gee, I'm sore," he
groaned, making a face. "Say,
does my face look awful? It
feels like all the bark has been
skinned off. And my nose
Lord, it felt like it was a goner

Bob gazed at him critically.
'Well, you don't look exactly
like mother's little pet boy, but
I guess in about a week you'll
be the god you think you are."
Jim laughed and shuffled
off to his room, singing at the
top of his voice:

Bob finished his smoke, then
he went off to supper, and later
down town with Helen.

9 when the F. A. V. club and its

chestra has been engaged to ren
der the music, which is suffici
ent assurance of a delightful e
vening t o all participants. Be
ginning at 9:30 o'clock the danc
ing will continue until 2 o'clock.
