A. work and $100 for the university "Y.' In contributing to this cause no man is giving his money to an outside affair. Some hundred and fifty Carolina men and count less alumni and friends are among the soldiers whom the army Y. M. C. A. benefits. Our brothers, our best friends are there or will soon be called. There are men among us today who in the course of the next few weeks will be in service. It is for these men, these Carolina men that you are asked to con tribute. College men as a whole can not be classed as financiers and Carolina is no exception. We are called upon to contribute to many causes but there is none with which we are more vitally concerned than with the promo tion of the army Y. M. C. A, work.
