About fifty courses will be giv en next year at Lawrence in the new Commerce department by eight full professors. The sophomores of Columbia University enforce a law where by the Freshmen are required to wear a regulation cap, green socks and neckties. The authorities at the Univer sity of California recently placed eighteen fraternities out of twen ty-one fraternities and club houses on the honor roll for good scholarship.
